...Thanks to snow patrol for that one.
and
WOW the singular most amazing moment of my life has just occured...picture the scene ... a gorgeous blond girl and the light fluffy snow that doesent make you wet but that makes everything beautiful. School ends early and we wonder back to hers for a bit, spend lots of time moping about, and building up to the singular most beautiful 3 hours of my life. We took the snow by the balls and went for it, walking into town surrounded in a white paradise of amazing-ness, while completely and utterly consumed in nothing but each other.
It was so romantic, we laughed, and we were there together, one of the very few moments of my life when i genuinly thought, i wish i could stay like this for ever. We wondered aimlessly townwards together with no sence of purpose, time or direction; sharing heat, sharing hugs, sharing kisses, sharing each other, sharing love. Stopping every now and again... just to hold each other and look out to a beautiful view of falling snow on an already beautiful city.
Town was jus as gorgeous ... we got lost in borders looking for mum a birthday present, which was cool, before wondering round town for a bit, stopping off at hmv, and just generally chatting about anything, everything, and each other. We ended up in pizza hut, this was cool too :D ... had an awesum time lol first time in a long time i have had to behave in a restearant. We finished up and then... then came the fairy tale ending...
We set off into the cold, full up from out meals so with stiches, far too cold for our own good, far too wet too, but madly and comletely consumed in each other to the point where none of this mattered. Neither did the fact that the falling snow was now rain... it felt like snow... the light headed-ness and the want for nothing but to be together made everything perfect. we wondered back towards the river side, in a beautiful white and romantic york, where we then went and stood on the boarding platform for the river toors (a mid river platform, accessible by bridge, about 2m square), where we stood surrounded by the water, with the lights from everything around us shimmering to our feet like we were the only thing that mattered in the world. We stood in one anothers arms, absorbing one another, loving one another, and protecting one another, feeling so safe in a place so dangerous. A kiss was followed by a suggestion to leave our island of nothing-else-matters and we continued down the river side, the lights still falling to our feet like we were the only two people in the world. This didnt last long, we soon found ourselves sprawled across a bench, once again keeping eachother safe in our hearts... to stay for ever. It was here we had the first date "in two months time" chat, it concluded of yes!, for god sake yes! lol... then i asked... "can we say yes to fee tomorrow?" ... (fee had said to us "are you two cold or going out", yesterday, to which i replyed "i dont know", ali and i looked at each other and both our faces exploded into smiles with excitement, "ask us again on friday" i continued to fee),ali pressed her lips to mine, before anouncing that of course we could ... I oficially have a girlfriend :D woooo :P ... sorry nicky last time... We held each other close again, kissing from time to time, and laughing with each other, (and occasionally at each other) . It was here we stayed until we were so cold we couldnt feel any of our limbs, basking in one anothers company and radiating internal warmth enough to counter the icy coldness all the way to the centers of each others heart. Despite the cold neither of us could take the smile from our faces, as we sat in the most beautiful place in the world, in the most beautiful situation. We decided to go before we died of hypothermia and so snuggled up to one another as we made our way back to ali's (we managed not to be tempted by sitting on the bridge or anywhere else for that matter, before curling up on ali's sofa with a secret agreement between us, (which was never actually mentioned) "WOW, TONIGHT WAS AMAZING!"
And she wont read this... but never mind, thankyou ali, I love you!
